DIY Suede Drawer Pulls

Why did nobody warn me about the uncoordinated flailing limbs and the incredibly high % of injury prone-ness of toddlers?? 😢 It seem’s like every other day my son is somehow cooking up new ways to get injured. The other day he was walking when suddenly he fell on his own and somehow ended up with a cut on his chin.

This is also the same reason why I wanted to replace the drawer pulls I currently have on his dresser. He generally plays around this area and I’m worried that one day he will just accidentally bang his head back on these pulls – ouch.

I liked the warm touch suede pulls would bring to the room along with the fact that they are soft and reduce his injury changes drastically. I looked up some pulls to order and one look at the price tag for 12 had me quickly Googling on how to DIY my own drawer pulls.

Here’s a quick look at the behind the scenes of making these.
